We stemmed from the Shadow Riders Forum, our "father forum" per se. The VLX was one of the best selling motorcycle models in the world, and our numbers were growing far beyond the capacity of one section of a multi-sectioned manufacturer based forum. It became evident that we "VLXers" were a force to be reckoned with! Hence the birth of our new and exclusive VLX Forum on May 25, 2001.
We have many various sections (a.k.a. "folders") at the forum, each dealing with a specific topic. From top to bottom they are:
VLX Writers-General Discussion --- As it says, general discussion. ANything/everything VLX and motorcycling in general is discussed here.
Coolest In The Shadows --- A submission section for the coveted monthly title. At the end of the year we have a poll to determine the Coolest of the Year as well, where top honors goes to the absolute coolest.
Parts, Repairs, Tools & How to --- This is the technical end of these mid-sized marvels. If you have a specific question about how something works, where to get it, or how to stick it on...this is the place.

Custom Accessory Suppliers --- Got a business that sells stuff for our bikes, or universal items that anyone can use? Post it here.
VLXets: the Ladies Room --- Tips for female-specific riding topics (gear etc).
Events & Tales from the Road --- Share info on rallies, shows, get togethers, or even a special ride you took.
